Attendance & Behaviour

It is important that we are informed of any reason for a child's absence from school. We have a statutory responsibility to keep detailed records of the school attendance, so please help us with this. A telephone call (01993 702388) explaining the initial reason for absence followed by a note to the classteacher will be sufficient. Parents who wish to take their children out of school for any reason need to put in writing the reason and apply for authorised leave. Please note this will only be granted in exceptional circumstances that are unavoidable. Holidays will not be allowed.

Behaviour including Anti-bullying policy can be found here Behaviour Policy

The good behaviour of a pupil should be seen as part of the total education of the child. It is essential to start with the child's need for security so that initiative is encouraged and development of the whole child is possible.
