Ofsted & SATs Results

Our latest Ofsted inspection, on the 14th and 15th June 2022, identified specific weaknesses in some areas of our safeguarding arrangements.

The matters raised by Ofsted included Health and Safety certification issues with the swimming pool on the school site, that some Risk Assessments were not adequate and a lack of clarity in the roles and responsibilities for safeguarding.

Ofsted commended the way in which the school supports vulnerable children and works effectively with other agencies.

In response to the inspectors’ findings we addressed and resolved issues immediately and we look forward to welcoming them back to demonstrate this.

We are pleased that the inspectors were able to recognise the commitment and work of the staff, and the positive behaviour and attitudes of the children. This was reflected in the other category judgements, which were all judged as ‘Good’ and in the comments.
